As one of the US drum and bass scene’s finest stateside producers, Winslow has grown his reach across the pond through multiple releases and performances over the last several years. Producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, composer, music educator and tea enthusiast—Winslow, based out of Kansas City, Missouri—has quickly gained recognition on the international drum and bass circuit. With previous releases on staple imprints including Spearhead, Soulvent, Goldfat, Pilot and Hospital, Winslow’s meticulous attention to detail, strong penchant for forward-thinking melodies, and unique rhythmic identity have seen him turn plenty of heads the last several years as he gained early seals of approval from tastemakers including Mitekiss, Mr Porter, and London Elektricity.

Winslow began exploring his relationship with drum and bass through his love for video games and experimenting with production. Since then, he has delved into the vast plethora of the genre’s different styles which has become evident throughout his own productions. From his deep and dark steppers on his ‘Mad Flavours’ EP, to the liquid-funk masterpiece remix of Nu:Tone’s ‘Tides feat. Lea Lea ’ (on the celebratory ‘H25PITAL’ compilation), it’s safe to say that Winslow has rooted himself firmly in DnB as a versatile artist with the ability to put his signature stamp on anything he makes. With frequent support from UKF, Spotify editorial playlists, and some of the top heads in drum and bass—Winslow’s journey continues to bring unexpected and irresistible sounds to his music.

Winslow’s healthy selection of releases have garnered support from drum and bass staples like Goldie, LTJ Bukem, High Contrast, Mitekiss, Nu:Tone, Workforce, and Degs. Aside from music production, he also a regular content creator for his popular Youtube channels (Winslow/Winsnotes) that delves deeper into his creative technique, thought processes and influences. With a Masters in Music Education, his teaching credentials, approachable vibe and skillset have become a beacon for mentoring and inspiring young musicians. From playing in orchestras from the age of eight, Winslow’s lifelong arsenal of musical training has translated across into his drum and bass career, seeing him catch the interest of UKF features and a spot on UKF’s ‘Future Vision’ livestream as well as on Hospital stages. 
 

Keeping busy with full time music instruction, production and DJ performances, Winslow has put out sample packs, multiple EPs, and complication tracks such as “Sandalwood Nights,” “Thinking of You,” and “Breaking News.” The well of creativity has been nonstop, with more vibey dance floor rhythms including “Spaced Out” on Hospital’s NHS500 compilation (500th release celebration);“Blastissimo” on the Slow Roast USDNB compilation (DJ Craze); “Orange Cat Riddim” (Goldfat); and most recently his “Class Dismissed” EP which explores the 140s as well as the 174s. With appearances all over the States, at Hospitality on the Beach (Croatia), Hospitality on the Harbour (b2b with Nu:Tone in Bristol), and the Standon Calling Festival (UK), Winslow is pushing the boundaries of his sounds in all directions.

Winslow relocated to Glasgow, Scotland in early 2024, with more projects to follow on Hospital Records, Apple Music, and Workforce’s new label “Must Make.” With countless high level festival performances since; including Hospitality on the Beach, Hospital30 (Bristol/London) and Darkshire Festival in Prague, Winslow has become a Hospital Records staple in the industry. With many more remixes and EPs complete (including a remix for Rudimental which has pulled 360k streams) on labels from Forza to Hospital to Spearhead Records—as well as a continuing Kool FM residency for over two years—Winslow continues a strong presence in the industry which is catapulting ahead at high speed.
